Tim Lee Ministries

Camp Jacob is thrilled to partner with Tim Lee in hosting the first annual Tim Lee Ministries Sporting Clays Challenge weekend on August 1-2, 2020 at Camp Jacob in Clintwood, VA.

Tim is a United States Marine who lost both legs when he stepped on a 60-pound land mine in Vietnam on March 8, 1971. His story of survival following the blast is nothing short of a miracle from God, and Tim will share that story over the weekend.

The weekend will commence on Saturday, August 1st, promptly at 8:00 AM with registration and sign in. Registration fees include breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared in the Camp Jacob dining hall.

The registration fee is $65.00 per individual or $325 per five-person team. Teams of five shooters will be the order of the shooting event. If you don’t have a full team, register anyway and you will be placed with a team of compatible shooters. The event is intended to be a fun time of fellowship and not a professional competition.

We will construct a shooting course of multiple stations through the large wooded area behind the main camp area with a fifty target flurry as the final station.

There will be trophies for the top three teams. We will have numerous items donated for a silent auction and a raffle for some very special prizes. The grand prize will be announced in the official event advertisement coming within the next couple of days.
